Beautifully maintained and tidy units with larger windows, 3 single beds, as example. Marvellous and peaceful location just off Venice and the Grand Canal, a gondola and a canal showing the charm of Venice, FINE food.

Clean. Close to bus & train - easy to get. 1700 m. from San Marco square.
Breakfast is very poor due to money paid.

Things I wish I knew before I tried it
Though the heating warmed my toes, it caused sleepless nights while the air conditioning straight up refused to cool down. Imagine being hot and bothered with no breakfast in sight and no apology in earshot. Not quite the escape we hoped for.

I really like the location. It was easy to find and close to major sights. Also there was an amazing bar just down the street that was delicious.
I did not like the breakfast. It really wasn't that great. Also our bedding was very old and needed to be replaced. The sheets were clean but that was about it. The room really needed an update.

Absolutely nothing!!!
Firstly I would like to say Venice is beautiful and I loved it but it was spoilt by staying at this hotel. The rooms do not look like they are in the photos much more old and dated and they are fallong apart. The hotel staff are very rude and try to over charge you for using internet facilities. The 'American' breakfast is not American it is merely a yoghurt and hard bread that I noticed is left out overnight, and if you dont like Nutella on toast then you have no breakfast.I Stayed there for 2 nights and on the 2nd the hotel had a power cut, reported this, the guy came up with a lighter to look at the fuse box so we sat in darkness for the next hour. On our checkout -no apology no gesture of goodwill-THEN 'he demands to be paid in cash!!!

The room was just ugly, air con system was unusable at night because of the noise (so you had to choose between sleeping with the window open and be eaten alive by mosquitos or to sweat all night...). Room service staff with no manners.

Nice location of hotel and very quiet surrounding. Breakfast was not so good but was ok. Staff at reception was very helpful and provided all the information needed.

Very helpful receptionist.
Tiny little room. Very dissapointing breakfast that didn't include any fruit. There was nothing on the buffet table that my daughter could eat. It does not make a lot of sense to have to out to buy a breakfast in town when one is supposed to be provided. For me, I don't particularly like salt on anything. For a hotel to add salt to everything is unacceptable.

Cozy and charming stay!
Just spent a night here and it was super cozy! The staff was friendly, even helped us print tickets. The room? Clean and quiet, perfect after a hot day out. Only thing, no air conditioning, but we survived. Breakfast was nice too. All in all, a good experience!
